Banana Chocolate Chip Protein Cake

Ingredients

– 2 ripe bananas (mashed) – 2 eggs – 1/2 cup Greek yogurt – 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup – 1 tsp vanilla extract – 1 cup oat flour – 1/2 cup vanilla or chocolate protein powder – 1/2 tsp baking soda – 1/2 tsp baking powder – 1/4 tsp salt – 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips (dark or semi-sweet)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease or line a loaf pan or 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper to prevent sticking. Set it aside.

In a large bowl, mash bananas well. Add eggs, yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth and fully combined.

Add oat flour, protein powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt to the wet mix. Stir until no dry patches remain—avoid overmixing the batter.

Fold in chocolate chips gently. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Sprinkle a few extra chips on top for a nice finish.

1. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool completely before slicing. Store in fridge for up to 5 days.
