Banana Bundt Cake Recipe

Ingredients

– 2 cups all-purpose flour – 1 tsp baking soda – 1/2 tsp salt – 1/2 tsp cinnamon – 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened – 1 cup granulated sugar – 2 large eggs – 1 tsp vanilla extract – 1/2 cup sour cream – 3 ripe bananas, mashed – Optional: 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a Bundt pan well. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon until evenly combined.

In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well. Mix in the vanilla extract and mashed bananas.

Add the flour mixture in parts, alternating with sour cream. Stir gently until just combined. Fold in nuts if using for extra texture and flavor.

Pour batter into the prepared Bundt pan and smooth the top. Bake for 50–60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack. Cool completely before serving. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
