Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

Ingredients

– 2 ripe bananas – 1/3 cup melted butter – 3/4 cup sugar – 1 egg, beaten – 1 tsp vanilla extract – 1 tsp baking soda – Pinch of salt – 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour – 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mash bananas in a bowl, then stir in melted butter until combined smoothly.

Add sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract to the banana mix. Stir well to blend all the wet ingredients evenly.

Sprinkle baking soda and salt over the mixture, then gently fold in the flour until just combined—don’t overmix.

Fold in the chocolate chips carefully to spread them evenly throughout the batter without crushing.

Spoon batter into muffin cups and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
