Chocolate Ice Cream Cake

Ingredients

– 1 package of chocolate cookies (crushed) – 1/4 cup melted butter – 1.5 liters chocolate ice cream (softened) – 1.5 liters vanilla ice cream (softened) – 1 cup hot fudge sauce – 1 cup whipped cream – Chocolate chips or shavings (optional for topping)

Instructions

 Mix crushed chocolate cookies and melted butter. Press into a springform pan to form the base. Freeze for 15 minutes until firm.

Spread softened chocolate ice cream over the crust. Smooth the top and freeze for 30 minutes to set the first layer.

Pour hot fudge over the chocolate layer and freeze again for 15 minutes so the fudge firms up before adding the next layer.

 Add vanilla ice cream as the final layer. Smooth it evenly and freeze the entire cake for at least 4 hours or overnight.

1. Before serving, top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings. Let sit for 5 minutes to soften slightly, then slice and enjoy!
