– 1 (14.75 oz) can salmon, drained – 1 egg – 1/2 cup breadcrumbs – 1/4 cup chopped onion – 1/4 cup chopped parsley – 1/4 tsp garlic powder – Salt and pepper to taste – 2 tbsp oil for frying
In a large bowl, mix the drained salmon, egg, breadcrumbs, onion, and parsley. Break salmon chunks and remove any bones or skin.
Add garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the mix. Stir well until all ingredients are combined into a moist, firm mixture.
Shape the mixture into 6–8 equal patties using your hands. Flatten them slightly to help them cook evenly in the skillet.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place patties in the skillet and cook each side for 3–4 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
Remove patties and place them on paper towels to drain. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or a side salad.
