Carefully twist apart Oreo cookies so the cream stays on one side, then press the cream-side halves onto each cupcake to make the owl’s big eyes.

3

Add candy eyes on top of the cream-filled Oreo sides to complete the wide-eyed look. Gently press them in so they stick securely.

4

Use the plain Oreo halves as ears by placing one on each top side of the cupcake. Angle them slightly for a playful, alert owl expression.

Finish by placing an orange M&M in the center, just below the eyes, to create the owl’s beak. Let the cupcakes sit for 10 minutes before serving.
